Something about me
This is Laia, I’m a 3D artist from Barcelona and co-founder of Coopernicus Art Digital, with a passion for clean geometry, colorful art and interactive storytelling.
From 3D animation to toys, illustration and immersive digital experiences.
I’ve been immersed in the world of art and digital creation since 2004, when I graduated with a Master’s degree in 3D Animation. What started as a fascination for modeling, texturing and bringing characters to life has grown into a versatile creative career across 2D, 3D and interactive media.
My path took me to London, where I spent six years working as an illustrator. That period enriched my visual language, sharpened my adaptability and allowed me to explore different artistic styles, techniques and ways of communicating through images.
After returning to Spain, I joined IMC Toys as a 3D artist, where my work connected creativity with technical precision. I sculpted and modeled toys from their digital concept to their real-world production, created assets for packaging, developed eye-catching renders and contributed to animations and visual materials for marketing.
Today, I’m co-founder of Coopernicus Art Digital, a creative cooperative where we combine art, storytelling and technology to build immersive and interactive projects. We create XR and VR experiences, apps, games, 3D content, animations, product visuals and digital tools for cultural, educational and commercial projects.
My work moves between clean geometry, colorful art and technical care. I enjoy shaping ideas from the first concept to the final polished result, whether it’s a character, a toy, an immersive scene, a visual identity or an interactive experience.
What defines my approach is versatility and curiosity. I like projects where art and technology meet, where every detail has a purpose, and where the final result feels polished, playful and meaningful.
